8-Step TMT Manufacturing Process

High-grade iron ore and limestone are extracted to form the foundation of pure steel.
Mining & Ore

Coal is baked in oxygen-free ovens to create Coke, the essential high-energy fuel.
Coke Ovens

Materials are melted at 1500°C to create liquid Pig Iron, the starting point of metal.
Blast Furnace

Oxygen is used to burn off impurities and excess carbon to create pure liquid steel.
Steel Refining

Molten steel is poured and cooled into solid square blocks called Billets.
CCM Casting

Glowing billets are stretched and squeezed through rollers to gain their ribbed shape.
